A new independent analysis shows that businesses supported by Be the Business experienced stronger growth in turnover and employment than comparable firms. Using a rigorous Difference-in-Differences approach with carefully matched comparison groups, the study found that BtB support boosted employment by up to 7% and turnover by up to 10% within three years. The results are statistically significant and consistent across all programmes, confirming a measurable and lasting impact on SME productivity and growth.
